Hi friends, It's a resin shell found on e.... some years ago. To complete my Lotus collection, I've decided to try a difficult scratch builing. The shell : The wheels, striring wheel and fake motor to hide the real electric motor. A try to fit all in the shell The work in progress... The pilot was made by Proto Slot Kit, the windscreen and mirrors by me, The motor is a FF030 The chassis is an old chassis from Beardogracing, The wheels and insert were from an old kit (Proto Slot Kit) A test on the track : And decals for next photos are from Indycals !! Thank you a lot Michael !! The work in progress... Nice job. With care a nd a bit of cutting / dremelling you should be able to get that nose down more. With a lot of my builds with low noses i've adopted a solution where th front axle has to be fed through the body and chassis after the chassis is in place. This allows the body sides to remain deeper and therefore stronger. Otherwise in thinning the top of the body to get the axle up as high as possible one risks the nose snapping off in any front end shunt. Cheers Andi
