Hi everyone As promised ... a while back now it seems ... Here is the first instalment of my new / first resin slot car attempt .... and i have to say , i'm loving it so far ... i think there will be a few plastic clones going on the bay to make way for a few more of these .....  I confess , i bought this with the body already painted red , and a really nice job it was ... although there are one or two very minor blemishes now !!! I have tried to do a little basic detailing etc , and am now needing to start thinking about Senor Fangio , and maybe attaching a few of these pieces together into something useable to get him some exercise round my track .... Std GTM chassis and scalextric motor etc planned for now ... i think this will keep it simple for the first build . thats all for now ... more anon cheers Ian |

Right then , I have eddittedd my pics a little to make them a bit larger ... actually i think all i have done is show up that i didn't dust the model before taking the pics !!!
Anyway , i digress .... it is i suppose more of a test piece for me ... i'm not great with computas , and dont use a hosting site etc ... i prefer to keep control of my pics .
So this is what i will be trying to improve on with my next build , and future posts .

Re. the chassis, the GTM one supplied with the kit is not bad really, a scratchbuilt one is just 'nicer'.

Happy New Year Everyone , not so much as an update ... as i have finally finished the little Alfetta. It has been delayed for all sorts of reasons , I have also started various others in the meantime , so workbench is a bit busy and i keep seeming to progress other models and this has kept getting ignored etc . I also thought i was going to finish my 4CLT first .... but its been delayed as well ....soon though . All comments welcomed on the Alfa ..... Negative and Positive .... its pretty much my first resin build , so it can hopefully be improved on for the next one , and i think i may have slightly over weathered it a bit .... as well as choosing a shaky brush in a few places .... And .... it drives shockingly bad ..... I definitely need to be getting some laps in on this .... could be a lot of fun . all the best Ian |
