I am aiming for the end of March. It is nearly two weeks since I have touched any slot car items...feeling a bit disconnected.

I think you'll have to wait for John to get home from visiting our fair land! He's in the states somewhere! I was worried I was hopelessly behind. Safe Travels, John! If you end up in San Antonio, give me a shout!

Thank you Marc. After two weeks in Las Vegas I am ready to go home but we are here for another six days. I am having slot car withdrawal. Working on a tablet is a pain too.

Ah - Las Vegas - the one-time home of the sadly now defunct Rad Trax which was the site of the first 3 or 4 "over the internet" organized Slot Car Conventions where I met and established enduring friendships with slotters from all over the USA. They were wonderful gatherings with a lot of "show and tell, impromptu challenges and loosely organized races - very much in the vein of "if they look like they belong together on the track, let's race" with no thought given to specs or rules.

I have been home for a couple of days and am slowly settling into the southern hemisphere life. There has even been work done on my voiturette entry for the ITP....that and hay making on the front lawn. Amazing how things grow with some moisture and warm temperatures.

The 31 March deadline for receipt of cars is fast approaching – particularly for those entrants not based in the UK. We reckon there are 60 days left.
To make sure we know how many entrants and cars are going to be taking part it would be really helpful if everyone committed to participating would let us know and confirm the cars they are entering. The list of potential entrants drawn up some time ago is shown below. If we haven’t heard from an entrant on the list by 10 February then we’ll assume they no longer want to take part.
Best Regards
John and David

Hello David, my second car, the Mercedes W125 disappeared from the list... I've added it with #2 on the 16th of December. It would be great if it coudl be added to the start grid.
Best regards Thomas

Two cars on the bench - Benz 1939 W154, W165 - rolling but untested chassis' shells afloat in a sea of (hopefully temporary) frustration stemming from a vision problem - diplopia (double vision). The "work-around" is to close one eye but that, of course, puts paid to depth perception!

David just to note that the list above has the wrong car for me. Mine is a Gulf Miller 1938 #17. Thanks Andi
