I built this using a Betta & Classic Matra MS84 fibreglass shell. The intention was to achieve something of an MS80 lookalike as raced by Stewart in his maiden world title year. The model is used regularly at my local club in the classic GP class and uses a standard Penelope Pitlane in-line comp chassis together with slot.it 22k motor, crown and pinions. Dave

A beautiful build Dave. One of my favorite cars (even if it did have a quasi wing!)

Aaaaah!!!! Got it. I guess I forgot long ago that Gold Blend was a cigarette brand.... It wasn't by the time I was born anyway...
