Hello everyone and a Happy 2020 to all.
We are changing the deadline for the receipt of cars by the organisers to 1 June 2020. This because there are problems with running the first two rounds in May partly due to commitments David Mitcham and Andi Rowland have at the UK Slotcar Festival and family events. Therefore the first round at Rockwell Park (David’s track) will now be on 6/7 June with Andi’s round a couple of weeks after that. Our apologies for the delay but it does mean entrants have an extra month to prepare their cars.
Best Regards
David and John

A little further forward with the ERA E type. Had some fun getting the guide holder inside the body. When I started it was 1/4 in. outside. Araldite rules OK. Have to cover the motor which is protruding into the cockpit, but like Baldrick I have a 'cunning plan'. Gerry

Bit off topic, (not sure where else I could ask this in the forums) but is anyone else having a problem accessing Slot Forum?
I have been getting this message for 2 days:
This page isn’t workingwww.slotforum.com is currently unable to handle this request. HTTP ERROR 500

Has any decision been made on what tracks are being used for this event, and any proposed dates?

Hi Gerry
The four UK tracks will be as last year - my track, Andi Rowland's - both in early/mid-June, yours and Tyneside. I need to contact you and Dave Wisdom about your preferred dates. The four North American tracks after that are signed up but I need discuss with John the running order and potential dates. We'll get back to you soon.
Best Regards
David

Hello
Two announcements for the Mac Pinches Thirties Championship.
1. We now have a full set of dates for the UK rounds:
7 June Rockwell Park - David Mitcham 14 or 21 June Manor Park - Andi Rowland 28 June or 5 July Tyneside - James thompson 12 July NERCS - Gerry Fitzsimmons
The cars will then go off to north America for four more rounds, dates to be announced soon.
2. The deadline for the payment of entry fees is 28 February. However as we have moved the car receipt date back the date for payment is now 21 March - £30 for one car, £45 for two cars.
Best Regards
David and John

David, Can you change Jim Scott's entry to read: Alfa Romeo 12c.
Also please add Jim's Bugatti 59 to the reserve list.
I assume the payment is going to John?
