The one on the left is of course an HO open motor. High revs, no torque Lovely for 1/43 cars but probably not up to the job even for the 1.5L 1/32 cars. The one in the middle with the Krypton magnets is a prototype of the Pioneer Hurricane. Smaller than a standard Mabuchi type FF030. Neo magnets.. revs at 23K (or more) rpm with enough torque to pull a horse out of the mud and enough down force to make traction magnets irrelevant. Release date: 2015 The motor will be officially banned when it does hit the market.. at least for proxy racing.. The one in the right is a Mabuchi train motor. slow revving (I think its rated at about 10K rpm) unless you replace the armature and turn it into a nuclear generator. Chris loves 'em because they fit in a Lotus 25. Or 33, Or BRM 578 for that matter.
