Congrats on persevering and getting the job done. Excellent work! If you still want to get the Stebro into a VRAA race this season to see how it compares to the rest of the field, send me a note. The VRAA 2012-13 Season Finale will take place at one of our club tracks, the Autodrome, in January. If the Stebro is going to make it to only one race, it ought to be "back home" in Canada, don't you think?

Old23, returning the car to Canada for its ONE race, just like the original, would be fitting.
However, I must disclose that in another tribute to the real Mk IV - entirely planned of course - this car does not have the motor that was originally intended. Apparently Broeker's Mk IV was to have a Martin racing engine. But the motor was not ready in time so he built up stock Ford 1500. My car had a Solarbotics FF-030 that I somehow ruined. So I had to install a cheap FF-030 that I stumbled across in a dusty bin in a dimly-lit Bangkok back alley (a very satisfying "Eureka" moment!). Therefore the car is not only late, it is ineligible for the VRAA.
However, as it won't actually be competing, I would be honored to send it over for some valuable test laps. So with your blessing, I'll prepare it for the journey.
