Only just come across this David -Superb!
I did not realise you were carving your own 312B; a considerably superior effort compared to my humble tinkering with the betta-classic 312B shell.
Love the photos from 2007; they clearly show lots of detailing, especially the rear wing construction.

This is one of my very slow builds, I like to have quite a few different things on the go at the same time for the variety but it does mean it can be painfully slow to finish anything.
I have in the past tried to reduce the width of the Classic 312B as you are showing in a thread in another place but I wasn't happy with it and reckoned it was just as easy to start from scratch.
I've made quite a bit of progress with the Ferrari since my last post and I'll post a WIP post soon.

Nothing to report on this very very slow scratchbuild.....
.......but as a very trivial aside, I was watching an episode of The Rockford Files today and noticed what looks like the Tamiya 1/12 Ferrari 312B in Rockford's caravan. I really should try and finish my slot car. David
