Hi David, Ferrari no 20 arrived home safe Friday morning Perth time, quite a surprise really,( I have had problems with post!) It completed it's round the world trip in good condition considering how far it has travelled and the races it has been in. After giving it a good looking at it seems this car has a Kyosho 1/43 motor in it, not the scalextric I thought. I think it is still supposed to be standard 20k rpm though. Thanks for your comments, very much appreciated, I will endeavour to tame its erratic handling now and see what else I can build. Thank you Mark, David and all the other unsung racers etc. for all the work in making the series happen. Best Regards Nigel

Wow Nigel, Your car made it home before mine did. Either Australia has in place some sort of "Commonwealth Courtesy" procedure, or the postal authorities in Western Australia are convinced that I've been sending you contraband from the US.. (re the difficulties I had mailing cars and parts to you from the US this past year!) I am glad that number 20 is home safe and sound. Time to start planning for the fall of 2014!

I'm pleased to hear your lovely Ferrari has arrived safe and sound Nigel.
I see that the Canadian, Australian and German postal services are all more efficient than the USA....

David,
Australia Post edges out the US Postal Service by a day.
I was pleased to see a package in my mailbox this evening, and there it was: Graham Hill and the Lotus BRM have made it back to Montana safe and sound. Thank you for the care with which the car was packaged and the very nice note that accompanied the Lotus.
I expect Charles and Alan will be getting their cars soon (perhaps today as well).
A reminder to all... the next issue of Model Car Racing Magazine is going to feature Dave Wisdom's lovely track and there may be a picture of two of our cars on it as well.
Thanks again to all my colleagues in the UK, especially you, David for coordinating the race logistics and more over the past 5 months.

Mark
I'm pleased your Lotus BRM has returned to you and thanks for telling me that Charles' Cooper-Maserati has also found its way home. I assume that all the cars have by now been received safe and sound so for me that is the end of GPd 2013, it was fun.

VBR, Taffy Taffy et al........The magazine comes in both paper and electronic versions, so the choice is yours...........in my mind, nothing beats the good old paper copy. Either way, we will need an address of some sort. Cheers Chris

The Eagle has returned to the aerie and, I think, to an earned retirement. Than you, David, for the safe return and the careful attention to the needed adjustments during the series.

Issue 74 of Model Car Racing Magazine arrived in my mailbox today. The article authored by our colleague Dave Wisdom on his lovely Forest Hall Circuit is excellent.

Chris or Mark
Would you mind moving this thread to the sub boards with the 2012 and 2014 GPd so it keeps them all together.
Thanks David
