I was wondering if any of you fellows had purchased one of these kits from Penelope Pitlane, and if so.. what do you think of the kit?

Phil,
Yes you did. My apologies. Post above is corrected. #12 is yours.
This is what I get for not having set up a spreadsheet on this in March. That has now been corrected!

A formidable field indeed. Only 11 weeks to go? I had better get started....
Kind regards,
Russell

Mark and David,
Have you worked out the dates for the races yet?
It's just that I might be in London in late October and well, if the dates work out.....?

Hi Alan. Re host dates: I was thinking Sept 21st/22nd or Oct 12th/13th; Oct 19th/20th at very latest, as the temperature in my garage will beginning plummeting late October rendering it pretty much inhabitable after then.
Thanks. Dave

I think Pete will probably run his round around the same dates as Dave as his barn which houses the track gets a bit chilly after October. The rounds at Dave Jones track and mine aren't so temperature sensitive so can run after these first two.
David PS - my car is half built which is unusually organised for me.

At this stage I am not sure of the dates that we may be there so I'll keep an eye on things and see what may eventuate.

That's a fine looking track Russell. I must make an effort to visit sometime in the future.

Hi Alan, If you happen to be in the UK over the weekend of September 28th/29th, there is a race for 1/32nd scale Can-Am and slightly more modern F1 cars being held at Presto Park in Norwich. I am sure you - and anyone else, for that matter - will be more than welcome to attend. For details, see: www.slotforum.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=66618With kind regards, Russell Hi Russell, That one would be a bit early for me. We are not leaving Melbourne until the 3rd of October and are heading to France. We then actually head home from London on the 30th October. I'll check out what's happening closer to the time. Cheers Alan

In preparation for hosting a round of the GP Proxy series, I've been finishing a few details to the scenery around my track. Back in the 1960s, you would often see small marker boards carrying popular fuel or tyre manufacture logos of the day around British race circuits. I've attempted to recreate these on the 'Forest Hall' GP track here in Northumberland.

Dave, Your track looks lovely, and I really appreciate the special attention you are giving it. Thank you so much for hosting a round of the GPd2013. Your new Ferrari 312B looks superb (I should open the competition to 1969-70 cars.. but how to keep out the wings? ) All the best,
