I just received a phone call from Chris, who is now at home and resting. Chris is still very weak, and it will be a long recovery, but he is happy to be home at last. He told me he really appreciated your well wishes and will respond when he has a bit more energy.
Danny, I'm sending you a separate PM with a message from Chris.

Hi guys,
I spoke with Chris yesterday, in fact he called me back after I had left a message on his voice mail. Chris sounded a lot better, although he told me that some days are better than others--the recovery process will be long.
Chris did have time to view Peter's posts on his recent Maserati build before the battery died on the lap tap. Chris is waiting for Valerie to bring in the power cord from the garage so that he might get back to the board, but I suspect his PC viewing might be a bit rationed for a while. He did tell me once again how much he appreciated all your well wishes.

I would love to think that he has browsed this forum by now as part of his recovery. It would be nice to know the latest as cheater has asked.

Hi guys,
I hope that Chris might put a short post on the forum today; it depends on how he feels after he returns from his visit today with the cardiologist. He told me he feels pretty worn out after those visits.
Chris called me yesterday afternoon and we chatted for about thirty minutes; he was in good spirits and we spent most of the time ranting about our second favorite subject after slot cars. (You may use your imagination here, but trust me it's probably not what you think).
Chris is off the oxygen now, but told me he still is quite short of breath after sessions on the treadmill at the doctor's office. I suppose that might be expected with COPD, but I'm encouraged that he is able to get on the treadmill.
Valerie was posting a package from Chris to me which I will need to get to Danny (Nuvolari) after it arrives here.
I reminded Chris that the best therapy (in my opinion) would be to finish a certain BRM project and then his GPd2013 entry (in that order). Although, I'm fairly certain that it's going to take an in person visit to Atlanta to recover the BRM.

Hi Guys. First I'd like to sincerely thank you for all the get well wishes and concern from my friends on the forum.
I'm now at home, on the long road to recovery, I'm off oxygen and the doctors are amazed at my quick recovery from such a massive heart attack, with the complications of COPD.
However I lost 25 pounds of badly need muscle mass, and I have to regain that, which may take 6 months for a complete recovery. It's funny but even the muscles in my fingers have withered, so my signature is all screwed up, and model making is going to be tough for a while, plus NO MORE FUMES OR DUST so I'll have to wear a face mask and be very careful.
That's all for now, and again thank you so much for all the well wishes, an as Mark suggested maybe the best therapy is to post more often.
Again thank's....Chris

Really glad to hear you are doing better Chris. The slot world needs you and you have certainly helped me develop so its great to see you back.
Take it easy and enjoy other peoples work rather than feel you have to do anything yourself.
All my very best wishes Andi
