A work in progress really, this car was going to be a Beardog Production Car. Unfortunately the economy got in the way, so I decided to make it my Proxy car for this years GPd2013. Well we all know what happened in March!....So here is next years entry, nearly finished, just need Windscreen and Gearbox, this is just a quick tease photo. Hope you like, Chris

Okay, I suppose I can reserve #15 for you. There is the matter of a certain BRM you've been holding hostage though...

H Chris
Looks great; looking forward to seeing more pictures. I was thinking of adapting a Classic Eagle Weslake shell to Climax spec . Was the rear end of the Climax version fared in with bodywork?

Hi David, No the back end is super complicated, they never raced it with the tail cone attached,...so all this stuff has to be modelled. There was only one Eagle Climax made, it's just been rebuilt, and this is basically how it looked in it's final races. Chris

Lovely Chris, what front tyres have you got on there? Andi Andi, I built the basics of this car in 2008...I havn't a clue where the fronts came from, the rear tyres are NSR's. Chris

Chris,
You are committed now! I reckon you have 5 months to finish that gearbox cover and whatever other goodies you might put in the back end of the car!
Cheers.

Chris can attest that I have been badgering, hounding and begging him for months to post pictures of his Eagle build. He kept putting me off with lame excuses such as, "It's not quite ready Mark", or "I can't find my camera", or "I have to wait for a sunny day".
Well the sunny day finally came, and I think all can see why I was excited about seeing this build appear in final its form.
Brilliant job (literally as well as figuratively) my friend.

Superb Chris. The detail of the gearbox, suspension and ancilliary bits and pieces is fantastic and the finish of the overall car is amazing.
Best Regards
David
