Hi gents,
Wondered what the consensus was on perhaps a 1.24th scale section on this forum, to showcase some of the bigger cars. I've just purchased a 1/24 Cox Ferrari 158 F1 which I plan to restore, and looking around there are so really beautiful larger scale F1 models.
If we get enough votes maybe Chris or Mark will consider, even on a trial basis?
Regards Jon

Jon, we went through this" debate" with sports cars a while back. This forum remains and will remain dedicated to 1/32nd scale open wheel racing cars. If you want to post about your Cox Ferrari there are other venues as you know. Mark
Jon, this is Chris, I agree with Mark, adding extra topics such as 1/24th and sports cars will weaken the appeal of this forum. After all I created this Forum and called it: THE F-1 ONE-THIRTY-TWO SCRATCHBUILD FORUM for a reason. We are gaining members consistently, and I remain committed that this forum is for 1/32nd Open wheel Racing Cars, for the purview of Gentlemen. (and Ladies if we can get any to join) there will be no consensus at this time. Chris

Hi Jon
I'm a relatively new member of the Forum like you and I like it the way it is - the fact that it focuses on one thing was the big attraction for me and I like the challenge of building in the smaller scale. I do build other models (sports cars, touring cars), although not in 1/24 scale (had enough of that when I was the member of a club). I think another factor is that, apart from vac formed body shells, there just aren't the cars available in 1/24. Sorry to be a bit negative - I'm not generally against change or new thinking so keep the ideas coming! I like your Honda by the way - I've got the Dave Jones shell somewhere that I'll get around to building someday.
Regards
David
