Hi All, One of my neighbours has taken a keen interest in the building of my home slot track and current scratch build. He arrived this morning at my garage with two large photo albums of classic car photographs at various venues in the UK. The attached photo's are a small sample of the photo's he's taken over the years, which I thought maybe of interest. Thanks Allan. Being new to this, I hope I have selected the correct category for these cars. Apologies if have not. In fact I think set 2 are earlier cars. Brian

Thanks Mark. Here's another selection of Allan's photo's, enjoy. There is a story regarding the Ferrari 156, Shark nose. Chris Rea had it painstakingly build using original parts for his Film, La passione. Apparently all 156's were scrapped in 1962. Chris Rea, if you don't know is Middlesbrough's most famous singer/songwriter. Cheers. Brian

If anyone wishes to identify the cars fro these posts that would be marvelous? I recognize models but not all of the types. The Maserati 250F was a give away Thanks. Brian

Nice photographs Brian, and it's nice to see film rather than digital images.
I would say most of these were taken at the Silverstone Coys Festival in about 1996, I was there and have loads of pictures somewhere that I took that weekend.
I certainly remember the pair of P3 Alfas and the line up of Maserati 250Fs in the pit road and the Sharknose recreation which Phil Hill drove round the circuit each day.
