As so many of the cars of interest to this group incorporate radius rods, I'm always wondering: How am I going to make those? What is the best way to attach the rods? Attach to the chassis? Or to the uprights? Or to the body? Or free floating? Permanent? Removable? Metal? Plastic? Solder? Adhesive?I'm always looking for a better way. How do you guys do it? For my most recent project, the arms are piano wire and brass tube, soldered to the uprights, and pinned to the body. One is fixed; the other, by fortuitous accident, is removable. Layout Left side arm is soldered to upright. Right side arm is removable. Next time, I may design both arms to be removable.

On one of my cars I glued small pieces of plastic tube to the body and the radius rod could slide into it when fitting the body. Not quite as polished a solution as the one you have used aurora. Cheers Nigel
