Matt,
this is incredible! Thank you for the detailed pictures.
Comparing your BRM to my car from 2013, I feel like I had to throw my GPd-winner into the trashbin...
The detailing and the "sharpness" of your car is extraordinary. A car like this is far beyond my skills!
I remember that three years ago, when you were entering this forum, you wrote, that you never before had built your own chassis. What a rising star...

I feel like I had to throw my GPd-winner into the trashbin... Noooo...don't do that! At least let our resident BRM aficionado Mark Huber make you an offer for it . Seriously it is a beautiful car and I hope you are proud of it. Because actually Taffy, I need to thank you and David Lawson for building BRM V12s and posting your work online. Seeing the work of you two helped clarify the features of the car. I've just now re-read your build thread from start to finish, something I should do more than once, because I just learned something else that I previously missed. David Lawson says that seat belts were mandatory beginning in 1968. I didn't install them...oops!

I've been trying to tidy up this ponderous thread and have only succeeded in deleting posts and making it messier.
Continuing on the subject of tires for this car, I now realize there is another mistake. The tire decals are not only the incorrect brand - Firestone when they should be Dunlop or Goodyear - but I just now have realized that they are not the correct era.
I thought something didn't look quite right when I applied the decals, beyond the fact that they are incorrect for this car. The Firestone lettering looked too large and too white for a 1960's car. Now I know why - they are for later era cars from 1972-1974. The lettering should be gold color and smaller size font as used on cars from 1964-1971.
Even though the brand would still be incorrect, the tires would look much better and more in period IMO.
I'll get them sorted sooner or later.

Hi, Matt, I feel like I had to throw my GPd-winner into the trashbin... Noooo...don't do that! No, of course, I was just kidding.... As you may have seen Here , I am very glad to have a nice cloverleaf of GPd-cars for my home-track now, even if one of these cars didnĀ“t run in a race yet. Because actually Taffy, I need to thank you and David Lawson for building BRM V12s and posting your work online. Seeing the work of you two helped clarify the features of the car. Thank you, Matt, I am honored! Concerning the tires: if you see through a magnifying glass, you will ever find mistakes... so it makes life easier to remove the glass!
