O.K. so there's no Lotus on the header, and the Green and yellow colours have gone, not to worry, every-things the same, we're just honouring Ferrari for a while. The photo is of Messrs Ginther #36, Hill #38 and Von Trips #40 cars being taken to the start line, for the 1961 Monaco GP. Ferrari only lost 3 G.P.'s this season. And this is one race they lost. Stirling Moss had his most famous victory here, in the under powered, but fabled Walker Racing Lotus 18, #20 with the side panels removed.
Monaco was won by Stirling Moss in his Lotus 18 Germany was again won by Stirling in a Lotus 18/21 U.S.A. was won by Innes Ireland in his Lotus 21
All the rest were won by Von Trips, Phil Hill and Baghetti in the Ferrari 156.
Phil Hill and Ferrari were the champions that year.

Chris, I JUST "LUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURVE" THE NEW HEADER!!!! Did you know I am a Ferrari tifoso? He He... Legendary engineer Mauro Forghieri was present at that race, it was the first he attended, but in "watch and learn" role at Ferrari. Cheers, Dan.

I'm colour blind so I just can't see what the fuss is all about. Now what would really make it look good is if the car featured was a Brabham

I also find the red a bit too much for my tired old eyes.

O.K. it seems we do not have enough Italian members to support a Ferrari Red theme. So on the recommendation of David and Mark we're back to "Rule Britannia"
So enjoy Young Jackie in his BRM P-261, he'll stay up for a while, then we'll go to Australia, New Zealand, France or the U.S.A.

Chris, Jim is his Lotus 25B graced the Forum Header for about 2 1/2 years. I think the BRM deserves at least a year, don't you? The Dark Lust. Green of Stewart's P261 looks fabulous in that picture --at least on my monitor.
