My latest build.....
The shell is from DNQ, chassis PP, decals Pattos, wheels Scalextric (M23), wings/mirrors/odds 'n' sods me.
The shell needed a lot of attention to allow the gears and motor to fit but is another great model from Simon. I did consider using the M23 motor/gearing cover but decided that it would produce a whole new set of issues. Tom Pryce was a great driver and so I was pleased to be able to make a car that is a nod to a talent that was not given the chance to fulfil his potential. He is buried in my local graveyard, which for a proud Welshman seems a bit strange that he is interred in a churchyard in rural Kent. (He was also married in the same church.)
Well on to the next project.....
(Andi, I have not forgotten your request for a closer look at my collection of F1 builds and will post a selection of pictures soon.....honest!!)
All the best, Philip

A very nice build of an unusual car. Great job! Where do you source DNQ shells?

Hi Stewart,
I contacted Simon (DNQ) via the Slotforum web site. His user name there is.......DNQ.
A really nice guy who has produced a nice range of classic F1 cars. Here are a couple of others....
Cheers, Philip
