Cordialement. Hello, sorry I do not speak English, so I have attached a photo to show you my mounting bearings. Cordially. Pascal Celton. Slot Cars Legends.

I also never use double flange bushes/bearings. I love the Champion oilite and Slotit axle relationship. I buy the CH-711 pack of six pairs.
These would give a little more space on the inside.
Martin, it is a while since I looked closely at the BRM I have but 3D print didnt come to mind although everything is very cleanly produced.

I think the chassis are 3D printed; I'm fairly sure the bodies are resin - whether the master was 'printed', I think only Pascal can tell us that. Yes they are quite expensive but the quality is excellent and they perform well; I'll certainly buy Pascal's next offering.
Best Regards
David

The bushings I used had thick flanges, I went over and picked up some single flange bushings and problem solved. I appreciated the good fit between the bushings and the chassis. Thanks for the service after the sale.

My understanding is that these are like the Ghostrax Brabham BT46B released a while back, i.e. Made from male and female hard moulds, not latex. I am not an expert but believe that is why the quality achieved appears far better than anything else i've seen in resin.
So presumably the cost is due to up front production costs.

Hello, Initially, the body and all the accessories are created and printed in 3D, then rework by hand to make masters. Then with these masters, I create silicone molds and body and all accessories are molded in resin.
The frame is created in 3d and 3d printed (polyamide).

I just got my 246P on the track for some testing before the final touches and clearcoat. I was impressed on how well it ran with the printed chassis. Lap times were close to the race prepared P48 that competed in the Tasman series a few years ago and it weighed only 5 grams more than a car with a light fiberglass body and wire chassis. Good job Pascal you made a very nice race car.

Here is the latest master underway: the Vanwall VW11 Grand Prix of France in 1960 driven by Tony Brooks ... next model in the range.

I ran my 246P last night in practice at our club race, I was impressed with the way it handled right out of the box. It needs a bit more break in time on the track before I will race it against the boys.

Cordialement.
