Hi guys
My name is Ken and used to go by the nickname Moose. I spent some time away from building 1/32 cars by going to the dark side of running a commercial 1/24th scale King track not far from my home. Life has dealt me a setback and I can no longer work, drive, walk without assistance or be upright for more than 20 minutes at a time. I was diagnosed with congestive heart failure on July fifth and have only less than 15% of the blood flow through my heart that a normal person has. My daughter has been taking care of me for the time that I have been out of ICU. The prognosis for my recovery is "if" I can recover naturally it will take a a long time. There is also the possibility of me having a left ventricle assist device implanted in my chest. Oh what fun.
I have a larder full of kits, drivers, parts and accessories that I have amassed over the years that will never get built. I do not want to have them wasted by not building them. So I would like to offer them to you gentlemen for you to build and a way I can generate some cash to pay the mounting hospital bills. My daughter will be in charge of packing and sending them out. Please let me know if you may be interested. Thanks Ken

Hi Ken. Your condition may not warrant a celebration at the moment, but it is good to hear from you. I hope that you will be able to post to the board now and then - I always enjoyed your contributions to other discussion boards.
Your offer of parts is generous and if the sale will assist with hospital bills, which are criminal in the States btw, so much the better.
Please accept my best wishes for your recovery to good health!

Sorry to hear of your problems, Ken. I recall you being a good customer of FPF Models before I sold it off. I do hope you can raise a goodly cash sum with them all. Best wishes for a natural recovery.
