Hi: John Fisher. Portland, Oregon.
I raced in the 60s, then again in the 90s, and now since about 2 years ago. I mostly race with the Northwest Association of Slot Track Enthusiats (NASTE) (I didn't pick the name), although occasionally with other groups. The racing is primarily at enthusiasts' home tracks, in both 1/32 and 1/24 scale. I've begun scratch building again and have joined this forum both for the fun of it and to avoid having to reinvent the wheel.

Hi John,
Welcome, you'll find many people here have invented many different kinds of wheels. That's the nature of the game, especially when we try and make these little monsters even more authentic, and perform as well.
Feel free to ask questions, many of us will be delighted to help,
Again welcome
Chris
