Peter’s New year monologue?
For those who have not noticed, both this Forum and the sister Sports Car Forum continue to attract new members. The F1 Forum can now boast to having 217 members, whilst the relatively young Sports Car Forum already has a membership of 51.
The F1 Forum was created initially by Chris and Mark for those skinny F1 cars so well caricatured by Russell Brockbank, Being sociable types of guys, they opened the forum up to pretty well all open wheeler cars which competed in track events.
Members may care to note that that apart from the early 60’s cars, posts are reasonably well spread.
I would ask that new members say a few words to either introduce themselves, or their 1/32 scale cars. I’m delighted to say that many of my friends are those i have never met, but perhaps have met through the forums. We really are a friendly lot here, so please do join in.
Unfortunately the sister forum ‘The Pre-war Forum’ has attracted little interest, and whilst it is to be deleted in the near future, consideration is being given to transferring files to either the F1 or Sports Car Forums.
This I believe is a Premiere site, patronised by those who can genuinely be described as gentlemen (and a lady?).
Well done us!
Peter.
