Hi there, my name is Andy as my user name might suggest and I live near Brighton in sunny Sussex by the sea UK.
I have been building models for as long as I can remember in one form or another. I enjoy scratch building and until recently I have been involved with radio control 1/10th scale trucks and 1/16 scale military vehicles and tanks (but you run out of room so quickly in that scale).
My interest in 1/32 scale slot racing has come back to me from when I was a young boy with "Scalextric". I currently do not a race circuit but have everything I need to build one except space. My main interest is in building and I like F1 from the 50s and 60s (in particular) and GT in equal amounts as both types were so individual and full of character. And of course it was a time when the driver was in control not in partnership with an onboard computer (no slur on today's drivers, but it is now a different era).
Anyway I don't currently have any photo's of 1/32 work as I am just to busy seeing what everyone else is up to and the high standard of work I am seeing is incredible. I enjoy as I said scratch building and also modifying existing models either to add detail or change a design or even rework something that doesn't look right. I am finding that some models are not a true 1/32 scale! or is it me? when I do the conversion some just don't seem to measure right...
Anyway you've probably had enough of me by now so my quick hello is over. I look forward to seeing more of your work and hopefully chatting sometime.
All the best, Andy.
