I'm wondering what folks are using as a matte and/or flat clear finish for clothing on figures, etc. I like the finish of Micro Flat. It's not quite dead-flat, but it does have a tendency to clog the airbrush, even if thinned. I wonder if the little fibers have irretrievably clumped together with age; it didn't seem to do that when the bottle was new. I've also used a Testors flat lacquer rattle can, but it's stinky The Micro-flat is just right for skin and leather, while the Testors is perfect for a cotton or linen look. What do youse guys use?

Testors or Tamiya flat, If I need a sheen I polish it with a rag.

I am painting some figures (spectators etc.) at the moment. Tamiya flat works well for me.
