The race was planned for last Saturday but was postponed until next weekend due to a major snowstorm that hit Vancouver. Yes, though we in the rest of Canada think of the west coast as "Lotus Land", it does snow there occasionally. And this one was a whopper.

This just in from Alwyn/SuperSlab of the Greater Vancouver club:Without further ado: we ran the cars on the Targa track this afternoon: what a fine group of cars! With the lower powered motors and with the narrow cars with narrow tyres, these were never going to challenge for the title of the fastest proxy ever on the Targa. But I do not think I have ever driven a proxy race with so many excellent builds. Essentially all the cars were beautifully crafted: both bodies and particularly the chassis. All ran smoothly, quietly and remarkably well. All in all a very impressive bunch of cars.
The results:Thanks to VTECFour Dan and Duke for driving, Luf for the video and Don M and Kevin for general assistance and marshaling.
SPOILER ALERT: Luf will be posting the video likely tomorrow. I am not going to steal his thunder and it is not for certain, but the video MAY contain a slow motion acrobatic event of the highest order! Escapades NEVER before seen on the Targa!

Many thanks to all involved in running this round. At least my results are consistent (bad) on all types of track!
Best Regards
