Stewart, once again I am going to have to withdraw. Some late-summer things have come up with my family and altho the car is fairly well along I won't be able to get it to you in time. I know it's frustrating as a host to deal with this kind of inconsistency, but I can only do what my family obligations give me time for. I appreciate your creative energy in putting this event together and giving us all a purpose for our modeling efforts. I will be following the event, of course, and hoping for more like it so I can have a place for the car eventually.
best regards,
Max

While I'm very sorry to lose your entry, Max, I completely understand the tug-of-war with real life responsibilities.

If you have not already done so, before mailing your entry to me please take a moment to review the Proxy Rules and ensure that your car conforms to key dimensional limits such as: wheelbase; overall width; tire width and diameter; guide length, thickness and depth; and ground clearance. It's far better for you to fix an often minor issue than for me to have to deal with it and/or assess penalty points. Thank you.

Terry's Honda and Duke's BRM arrived safely today.
I have started the Tech Inspection on the cars as they arrive, but will not publish any data until all the entries are under parc fermé in the paddock. However, if there is a problem with your car, I will contact you directly to discuss how it might be modified to conform with the rules and the penalty that will be assessed. All will be revealed when the Tech Inspection spreadsheet is posted.

Stewart Cooper #17 (John Love) was sent ExpressPost today (Friday 18th Aug) and I am told it should arrive in two business days. I can only hope for the best as I still have parts from Winnepeg that are now 7 weeks in the system. Have included your data sheet plus a short summary of the rules and some comments which I hope might be useful. I found to my dismay my front tires are 8.2mm sidewall to sidewall so I will probably get points deducted for that(!). My rear tires were wide to start off with and I have skimmed then down substantially (on the inside) and they are now 10.5mm wide sidewall to sidewall. I should have put a note in that the tires are NOT glued on and the buldge faces the outside - (should they ever come off in the racing which they shouldn't). Also I forgot to enclose a spare plastic bag to put all the bits in for the return journey. Thanks again for your time in organizing all of this. Best Regards Richard
