Christian, thank you for posting the race results and photos. I was waiting for your pictures before I posted the results, but it is far better that you have done so and entered into the conversation directly. Congrats to Terry, Chris and Marc on their podium finishes. Well done guys! As for the continuing traction issues of my Brabham, I am at a complete loss to figure it out. Pre-season testing of three options (PG, NSR and an old Ortmann urethane compound) at the Autodrome promised excellent results for the latter. Even a short run on my Scalex Sport test track after Round One seemed to indicate that the problem might have been limited to the Ninco surface in the first race. Yet, the situation has gone from bad to worse at Courville. Oh well, it looks like it will be a long, and sideways, series for the #1 car. I will open a new thread for Official Results & Standings by tomorrow so we can track the Championship battles. Stewart

Christian,
Thank you so much for hosting this event! We finished 6th! Soooo much better than my other proxy runs on 2017. Congratulations to those standing on the podium, and thanks again to Stewart on general principles. As one might guess I'm really enjoying this series...

Hi Christian Thanks for running this and for the results. You had me worried there! I can't say i'm overjoyed to be fifth but after a qualification in 10th i'm fairly relieved. I did think that maybe I had the dirtiest track in quali as I think you listed me as being the first car you ran? Its great that there is a lot of mixture although that Honda is looking like running away with it....
Finally I wonder if you could comment on the slight vibration? Is it just that the car is set up loose or an actual drvetrain vibration?
Thanks everyone and well done to the podiumites! Andi

Thanks again to race organizers for hosting and posting results and photos. Congratulations to the podium finishers - you all should be glad this is 1967 and you don't have to drink out of an old shoe to celebrate!

I have to say that I‘m not happy with the result of the qualification and the race although I improved... At the moment I‘m not sure how this can be interpretated after the limited setup runs on my home track on wood. The car was somehow light in the front but definitely a smooth runner. Anyway. Thanks to the race organizers and the reports from the tracks! Looking forward to the next races, Thomas

Finally I wonder if you could comment on the slight vibration? Is it just that the car is set up loose or an actual drvetrain vibration? Andi, I can't say exactly what caused this vibration. All drivetrains seemed to be OK. I just finished repacking the cars into the big box so it's too late for me to take a closer look at it. Sorry.

Obviously I'm very pleased with the results!
I'm going to wake up in a minutes time and realise this is all a dream,
Thanks to Christian for the very efficient running and reporting of this round, the life blood of proxy racing is quick turnarounds and excellent communication, its just like dealing with SCC in Canada!
Congratulations to the other podium finishers and to all who have put so much effort and time into creating these little beauties.
Terry

Thanks to all for hosting round two. Congratulations to those on the podium. Deep analysis shows me that had yellow lane not faltered on delivery 5 more laps as the other lanes maybe car 69 could have hit the podium. It is what it is......sigh! Thanks again and carry on!

Thanks to all for hosting round two. Congratulations to those on the podium. Deep analysis shows me that had yellow lane not faltered on delivery 5 more laps as the other lanes maybe car 69 could have hit the podium. It is what it is......sigh! Thanks again and carry on! You're absolutely right. Daniel, who was driving the yellow lane, had a lot of difficulty adjusting to the heavy oversteer your car had on my track. In the first three laps, the car just snapped out of the slot in the corner after the longest straight. After those offs, he was much more careful in this part of the track and that was the main reason he was not able to get more laps in with your car. It seems other drivers were able to adjust to this oversteer. Since the final results were extremely tight, this made a big difference in the final standings for your car. Car #4 had a braid problem in the yellow lane and we fixed the problem after Daniel complained of some on/off behavior of the car when he drove it. This also explains the large difference for the yellow lane for car #4. In the end, it didn't change the final result for this car.

Thanks Christian for a well run round . As Val stated this is very enjoyable and unpredictable. Having fun just seeing the cars and how they perform on different tracks is quite interesting too. Thanks again to you and the boys for the great round 2 of the series. Congrats to the podiumites and all other competitiors in the proxy.

Christian Thank you to you and the team for running the event. Congrats,to the podium finishers and great builders. Regarding #6 I know there was an issue with the bushings in the last event. Could you please loosen the last screw under the transmission to see if that frees up the motor/gearing. Appreciate your efforts Aloha Dale
