Hi Thomas, as far as I know they are all routed tracks but the surface of each could be vary...urethane tires are still a good option I think.

Mac, I read your SFI post and do see merit in it. I do think however that with the remaining time left this year, such a task would be a problem.
I am however thinking that since this event will undoubtedly be a success as a result of John's and David's efforts and all those of the hosts, the event is very likely to be repeated.
I'm thus happy to look into this further as my contribution to further events.
Peter.

hi Peter, i do realise it will take some thought, not an easy fix. Its there on he table and with a bit of thought i think it could work lets kick it around and see what comes up for a date in the future. if, over a period of time we can see if there is an interest and sometime in the future with a far bit of input we may be able to do something along these lines. People generally build a car for a specific series, or if not a series just one event. So this passport would be a record of the exploits of a single series?
Just thinking it through.....

Hi Andy, no i was thinking of an on going thing, a log of cars, where they have been or gone to. I have a printer guy who has done work for me before, ill make enquiries as to producing a short run, may be a mock up for a look see,. theres no rush as it could take some time and head scratching to get it set out, the guys have come up with some grand ideas in the past, i cant see this being beyond there powers of thought, every thing starts from somewhere. cheers MacP

Ok, so its us that have the passport? We send it off on the proxy with the car? It gets stamped then comes back? Then we send it off on the next one with a different car, etc.
What if there are more than one proxy series running at the same time?
I'm just trying to start the head scratching...... Andi

Iv been looking at the costing of these passports. Its looking a little expensive as yet. How many guys send there cars to the proxy meets, if i had a idea as to how many do participate ill get an idea as to the unit cost, then we will know if its worth pursuing further. Mac P
