This is a model of the Maserati Monofaro A6GCS raced by Fangio in the 1949 Rome Grand Prix run under F2 regulations. Fangio didn't finish and the race was won by Luigi Villoresi in a Ferrari 166. The body shell is from Race Spirit racespiritmodels.com/en/. Its a very good moulding and a comprehensive kit. Its designed for a PP slimline chassis and therefore has an FF050 motor at 18K rpm. The wheels I used are almost my last remaining set of Peter Seager Thomas creations. It drives very well and is fun to 'throw' around the track. Best Wishes David
