Sounds absolutely amazing Russell. They've beat me to it.... Except is it too good to be true?
Reading that publicity it certainly isn't in English which seems odd as either a company of that import would either have an English speaking backing or at least bother to employ someone to do a press release in English given the import of the English speaking slot world?? Surely.
Or maybe i'm wrong? Hope so....

Looks like SRC are getting there. The first releases are a 1979 Ferrari 312T4 and a 1979 Renault RS10.
Kind regards,
Russell

Looks promising. Does anyone know if they have a web site and the address?

Wow!! These seemingly wonderful models are now available to pre-order at my favourite slot stockist in UK. They really look as if they are going to model great cars.
Trouble is the price - £224 -ouch,ouch and double ouch!!

O.K. Guys moderators job has to be done.
when I sell my Beardog Racing Kits and Cars a lot of people ante-up $4-500 dollars.
So an insane price for some is reasonable for others.
So new forum rule, no price discussions, this is not Slot Forum.
Thanks
Chris

Without mentioning then whether the price is right or not or reasonable or not surely the point is that there is a difference between a one off Beardog hand built car and something which purports to be an RTR production run.
Delete this post Chris if you think it inappropriate but it seems relevant to me.
But then this is a scratchbuild forum so this whole thread has no relevance here anyway right? Or are those cars being scrathbuilt individually hence the price? Oh darn, i've mentioned that word now.....

I do not want to break the rules, just to point out that a Racer car costs € 215.00 / € 220.00 and these new f1s are announced at € 200.00 (in fact, € 199.95).
Only time will answer if there is enough people to keep these cars being produced.
André Acker.

Looks like they are on track for launch on schedule. Not surprisingly, a Fly Williams type drivetrain appears to be employed.

For anyone who has bought these or is thinking of buying them I am producing some 3D printed chassis that will be compatible with the Policar gearbox. I am prototyping them currently but hope that within a week or so they will be available through Shapeways direct. Cheers Andi

Excellent initiative, Andi, but when will your motor pods and running gear be available as tuning parts for scratch builders?

Hi Stewart
I am told that some have found their way into the shops. Limited numbers so far but they should be out there somewhere.....
Might be a global search.
They will come as a kit of parts for self assembly apparently.
Hope that helps. Andi
