Hello friends, I do not know whether this thread allows this type of post but I run. For a long time, I wanted to change an old scalextric type junior formula. I had a shell in a lot and I am therefore decided me. I have made choices: I decided to keep origin items as the windshield, pipes, wheels and tires and the driver. I have cut the hull to accept a beardog chassis. to continue...

Of course, this thread is the perfect place for your post. I see that you're partial to the Beardog chassis. That should make our forum founder smile (just a bit). Cheers.

Interesting build,I have some of the Scalex Lotus bodies here but always thought they were a bit too small to be scale.

mark, yes, a little partial..... I've tried others chassis, and for me, it's the easier way to scratch a little formula one? @phil, when I scratch this sort of car, I know that's the scale is not good, it's just the opportunity to try anything else. A try to see if all is good... The real C82 I'v choose to reproduce Jim Clark as the pilot. The wheel driver is really too thick. With a little drill, I dig so I can see the dashboard througt the hole. The decals are from FOLM and Pattos. The gear is from Slotmania, the motor from Solarbotics. The rear-view mirror are from a Fly March, the rest of a PSK trans-kit Brabham BT34. Exhausts are from a Monogram Lotus 33 Kit. Due to the plastic like styren, it's difficult to sand. I used a soldering iron to fuse (paste) the lower parts on the body shell. Hope you like it, it's my first attempt to modify a scalectric formula one and I think not the last... Pred PS : I'll have to buy new tyres
