Hi Ray, Both the Strombecker and MRRC Mercedes were of the 154 model, and they are both the same size. Yes this was a very large car, you should be able to find track and wheelbase dimensions from a google search easily, but remember this is a Mercedes 154Try here: www.supercars.net/cars/2069.htmlWheelbase is 107.5" and that is big, a 60's indy car has a wheelbase of only 96"

Wheelbase is 107.5" and that is big, a 60's indy car has a wheelbase of only 96" FWIW, The Strombecker model is within tolerance IMO: Wheelbase: 107.5" (3.559") Model 3.33" Length: 167.3" (5.228") Model 5.5" Width gets a bit confusing since it's given at 68.9" (2.15"). The "body" is certainly not that wide. Must be overall width. Body is 1.3" over front axle and 1.2" in front of rear axle. Disclaimer: Measurements were made with an engineer's scale. Not a precision instrument.

I have scaled both sets of drawings That I have for the 154 and the MRRC seems to be about 3mm too long mainly in the tail, so no real problems to shorten and reshape that before remoulding.
