Andi, This is for your benefit. Well, this shell doesn't look at all like anything else I own, but it is a BRM. I have to believe that some of these were green... I just can't see painting it the color of a cigarette carton.

I rather like the look of this one: I had to look up the name of the driver on Grandprix.com and this is what I found. Name: Francois Migault Nationality: France Date of birth: December 4, 1944 - Le Mans Moderately talented Formula 2 and 3 driver who was recruited to drive for the Motul oil-backed BRM team in 1974 and later had guest outings for both Hill and Williams. He finished second at Le Mans in a Gulf Mirage in 1975 since when he has enjoyed an irregular sports car career on both side of the Atlantic. Oh boy.. new paint (mint green?, turquoise? / light grey or silver? ) and then trying to figure out where to source decals.

Wings and slicks Mark, WHAT ARE you thinking???
I'm going cigarette packet myself although apart from the air scoop i'm imagining i'll have to cut it about a fair bit to make it look like those photos....
Can't wait Andi

I remember watching the BRM Motuls at Brands Hatch (must have been 1974). One of the BRMs had a rear wing failure. It reappeared a few laps later without the rear wing altogether and was matching the lap times of it's sister car near enough... If Bernie was in charge of the show then, he would have had a fit. Also goes to show what a rubbish design the car had become! (Can't remember if it was the warm up laps or the actual race though).

I was also there and from my memory (might be wrong) it was during the race and it was Pescarola's car.
