While waiting for the Milliput to harden on the Dino, I thought this afternoon I'll make the Chassis for the Merc. Had everything to hand some recycled brass from an earlier chassis, and off I went. Now I have sprayed up the Body and am in the proces of mounting to the Chassis. This is going to be a quick build as there isn't a great deal of detailing to be done

Apart from a few dabs of paint and a minor chassis adjustment she's ready to race.

Hi, Peter, I like these more or less successful 50´s streamliners. The Merc´s have been very successful, others, like the Connaught only made an attempt. I didn´t know, that there is a Betta&Classic-body of this car. I have a built car of Bumslot, that I eventually bought on ebay several years ago, and I have a Ghost model body, that will be one of my next builds of a "Streamliner-Cloverleaf" (yet built: Connaught Streamliner) Hope to see your ready car soon! VBR,
