Hello to you all I have been lurking at this site for a little while and am amazed and inspired by some of the wonderful work you members do. My father had scalextric when I was a child in the sixties. 18 months ago I had a serious fall and somehow became obsessed with these wonderful little models during my rehab. Clouds do have silver linings. I was a model kit basher as a kid but always had to change them to my way. Since being back into slot cars I am loving the scratch building side probably more than the racing. Most of my models have been saloon cars but am working on a 1967 Brabham BT-24 at the moment. I will post pictures when I am happy with it. Thanks Fred Paul

A belated welcome to Charles; I hope you will enjoy this site, and if you're inclined to build some open wheelers, that you will share those projects with us.
Fred, Welcome. The BT-24 is a great choice.. such a neat little car. Are you using the Pre-wing shell from Mel and company by chance? I will look forward to seeing that build as it progresses.
Best regards,
