David, all I can say, is, that I like this car very much! Really great work!!
Tomorrow, I will post my own car, and I will add a small piece of very fine mesh, that you may use for the radiator - or for another project.

That's very kind of you Taffy but I feel a bit guilty as I have to say that I have a small amount of fine mesh left over from doing the engine intakes and I've now made up a piece for the exposed radiator on this car. I'm not sure why I didn't do it in the first place, some times you need someone else to spot the obvious. This is my latest attempt at making some wheel inserts. I made up the buck and vac-formed half a dozen which I will now trim to fit. The radiator with the mesh in place. David

You will all be pleased to know that at last this is my final post about the Cooper T86B. The completed car with the new vac-formed concave disc wheel inserts which are more convincing than my previous attempts. The car on my home track this afternoon. David

David; that is spot on and those wheel inserts work perfectly.

David, Great job on those inserts. The wheels on the Cooper Cars seem quite unique. I believe that your kneeling mechanic is looking in the wrong direction. The view over his other shoulder is much more intriguing.
