This is my car for that well-known proxy race. I plan to attempt the Guy Ligier BT20 that he ran in 67 and 68 before packing up following the death of his friend Jo Schlesser in the Honda at Roen. His car looked like this: so I will be using one of the PreWing BT20 shells. Getting a chassis under these is a bit of work, but I am using my standard chassis build technique and the bare chassis looks like this: After a bit of work it is up on its wheels with the rear suspension on ready for front suspenson work. Then there is some bodywork fettling, painting and detailing etc. Mel

I think I may have already said this elsewhere, but this grid is shaping up beautifully. You are all building a set of very fine cars and it’ll be a privilege to see them for real.
Looking forward to seeing the Ligier car completed Mel, and I’m pleased to see you share my passion for working on a clutter free workbench…

Having completed this build I am under strict orders to tidy that room before I build any others or else!

But Mel,
A man's home is his castle. Perhaps you need to dig a moat?
I'll bet you are glad to have the Brabham completed and on its way!
