So, to make a long story 'relatively' short. I bought a HUDY a couple of years ago. It worked for 15 minutes and then the motor went dead. I traded it to Ken with the warning that the motor was dead. Ken confirmed that the motor was indeed dead. Being the electronics wizard that he is, he put in a new motor and now has a working HUDY. I vowed never to buy another HUDY.
BUT... attempting to true tires by holding the car against sandpaper on a piece of track has not worked for me. AT ALL. Witness: check the GPD2013 thread and see how my car is doing.
So, I relented and ordered another HUDY from Professor Motor. It arrived a few minutes ago. Given the price, the motor better last longer than 15 minutes this time.
Now, I am a very visual person and the instructions that came with the HUDY are ****. I'm sure it is a fine machine.. it had better be.. but I need a video to watch... HUDY for Dummies. So I found one...

But this is HUDY für dumme Leute. What is this fellow doing besides adjusting the little knob back and forth? And fiddling with the machine for 12 minutes, part of the time when the truer isn't even in the picture frame! Gott in Himmel!
Taffy, please watch this and send me the English translation, Mein Deutsch ist nicht so gut, und Ich kann nicht alles vertstehen. Danke schön.
So I tried again,
This one is in English (or at least something that passes for English)...

It was amusing listening to this fellow and trying to guess what he is saying, but he's using a different machine. He's also truing something he calls toyers, so this probably isn't all that helpful.
I speak American English and I can understand some versions spoken in Canada and the UK (excluding Cockney and anybody from Scotland excepted). I did find a video made in Ireland but every other word sounded like shide (sic?) or something that rhymes with 'lookin'" (often used together) so I decided not to add the link for that demo.
HELP!
EDIT: Wait a moment.. here is part two.. what is with that goop? is it legal?

Viel Spaß und Erfolg
Thanks!
