This BRM looks excellent and all the better for its rarity value. I like the engine detail. The finish and colour are terrific - what paint did you use. I've got three BRM projects in the pipeline and got a can of Ford Tourmaline green from Halfords but not sure how its going to turn out! Also the tyres look quite realistic what are they please?
I'm not familiar with Halfords paints, but David Lawson and others could advise you on that. I believe that Taffy used a "BRM Green" paint from Hiro (sp?) on his BRM V12... that shade looks very good as well.
I usually use Halfords paints but for BRMs I use Maserati Rifle Grey from the paints4u.com range.
Barry Boor recommended it to me and I'm happy with it but I've seen about half a dozen BRMs at various open race meetings which are a very similar shade but the builders have all used or mixed different colours from various sources so it's a case of experimenting until you find the one you are happy with.

A splendid looking car, it really captures the feel of the original. I know what you mean about hidding bits and pieces - I'm sure I spend more time looking for things I've put 'safely'somewhere than actually productively making the car itself! What's your next project?!
