I have googled and been looking for a car plan for the 1964 BRP/BRM. There is a Walkden Fisher plan of the 1963 car but I haven't come across the 1964 model. I was wondering if anyone had one I could use please. Thanks Nigel

Nigel
I think you are going to have to carve this car by eye as I'm sure there aren't any drawings of it.
Several people who post here have carved their own BRP so hopefully they will see this thread and tell you how they went about it.

Thanks David, I see John from the Valley raceway has a feature on his web page with what looks like a BRP drawing on his carving, so I thought I must have missed the plans somehow. I will keep my eye open anyway for anything similar in the meantime. Regards Nigel

Hi Nigel, I've never been able to find plans for the 1964 BRP either. You've already found John Prince's build which may be the best start. Chris Wright built a 1964 BRP as well but it wasn't a balsa carved shell, it was a much modified FPF resin body that he reworked extensively. I'm pretty sure Chris worked form historical pictures but no blueprint. slotracing.tk/Cheers

Just noticed this, if you still need plans of the mk 2 BRP, see the July 1965 issue of Miniature Auto world magazine.

Thank you for that Michael, I will try to find a copy of the plan for reference. I have carved the body already, but I would like to see if it does resemble the actual car. Regards Nigel

Very interesting, thank you for the link Chris. In 1962 I never thought I would need French and so Like a lot of things I didn't take much notice in school, DOH. I will have a read through it and check all the links. Regards Nigel
