Hi, folks! I gave someone my promise, that my next build will be a Cooper T60 using the PreWing-body. After some research, I want to build the Cooper T62, that was driven by Lex Davison in the 1963 australian gold star series, which you can see Here! But there is a problem with this picture: it only shows the rear end! And I didn´t find any other picture of this car. So I need your specialist knowledge about the front of the car. Does anybody have pictures from the front? Did the car had any stripes or was it painted completely red? (I suspect, it was, like Davisons Cooper T53, shown Here!) Any help is appreciated!

Taffy
This photograph is a shot of T62 in its brand new state just before it was shipped out to New Zealand, as you know it was sold to Lex Davison for 1964. Sorry I don't have any pictures of it when it ran as a privateer.

Thank you very much, Chris and David! There are several pictures of the T62 in green/white livery that could be found in the net, but only very, very few to show the Car of Davison. I have found two other b/w-pictures in the net, but they are very small and lack of detail. The most important of your pics is the third one in the row of Chris, because it clearly shows, that Davison´s car had no white stripes in the front, and what shows the (team-)badge on its side!

Lex raced this car during 1964 it was painted red with no other bands or stripes, as usual. It carried his No 4 racing number and the team logo. I am pretty sure this was the same car that Rochy Tresise was killed in at Longford in 1965,only a week after Lex died at Sandown. I will see if I can find sme pics from 1964. I should have some as I have just moulded this car for the Tasman Proxy.I am doing Bruce's car but one of the other entrants is doing the Davidson car. I will also see if I have any images of the Ecurie Australie logo. These may be of some help; This one is from Autosports and was labelled 1961 BUT I am sure it was from late 1963. This one is from 1964 and shows the air scoop in the lower panel. Old Race Photos May be worth a look thru.

Thank you very much for the informations about the car and drivers and for the pictures, Phil! The upper of both pictures is just, what I´ve been looking for. If you have pictures of the Ecurie Australia loge, that would be great!
