Greetings, My 2nd car to show is this build of the GTM Auto Union Type-C car #1, winner of the 1937 Eifelrennen Nurburgring GP, driven by Rosemeyer. I used a Penelope Pitlane chassis SM1-m, Slot-it gears, BWA 14K motor, and a set of BRM S-124 25x7 wheels. The silver paint is "stainless steel"... I like the color, but it looks a bit grainy, even with a smooth finish over it. This was the first car I built this last Spring. Regards, Howard

A very nice build Howard. Yeah silver paint can be a problem, the grain of the paint can be a problem. I've found that Tamiya Gloss Silver works quite well. because there is a gloss element in the paint, the grain is not so obvious.
Excellent build, and the Maserati is pretty good too!
