Thanks everyone, David M. Also sent me some photos...
Its all quite difficult to tell isn't it? No dayglo pink there really. Maybe its just a slightly pinky red whilst the STP colour is a deeper red....

For me it will have to be the 72 that is purchased first (being a Lotus nut) However I agree with Ted; A Ferrari 321B would be icing on a beautiful Cake. Peter

I am looking forward to the Tyrrell March and hope it is first in line. It will be a welcome addition to my slow-building Jackie Stewart collection.

Martin,
From 1966 to 1970,the Ferrari F1s were referred to as 312- for 3 litre 12 cylinder I believe.
The 1970 F1 car was the 312B. It used a flat-12 motor rather than the V12 used previously.
The next car along was the 312B2, so I presume you have made the 1970 312B. Which is splendid news for me, as I have wanted the 312B forever.
I can't wait to see this in the flesh-or in the resin.... TED....

Yes the 1970 312B. I have one of the first batch. Mel is building one on the slotcar builder facebook page but assume you don't go there Ted? I've told him to get it over here but he said he lost his password to this forum AND to photobucket!!
Cheers Andi

Ted,
I believe Mel has shells, but my son was moulding the vac-forms for the screens this w/e just past.
There is something about wheel inserts for a different rear wheel, but I don't know what Mel's on about to be honest! We were going to meet up for our regular coffee and windbagging session, but his grandchild has chickenpox, so I've told him to post whatever he was going to give me!
After a heart attack I don't need shingles again!
Sorry to be vague, but despite my track record of master making, F1s are not my scene, least of all the later ones. Gimme a pretty sports car any day!
No excuse for losing passwords. That's why they give you a bit to click on saying "Forgot Password?" I shall reprimand him. This forum is exactly where he should be.

Ted the 312B's are in the bringing to market phase. Both Mel and Andi are building models so that they can be tested, photographed and used as promotional vehicles.
I'm sure Mel will anounce as soon as possible when they are available for sale. I'm sure a message on Facebook to the man himself will solicit a response.
