Hi folks,
Thought I would say "hello" and generally let people know that I am now active on this forum. Some of you will know me from Slot Forum International (I have kept the same name for this forum) and my scratch building exploits that I have shown there.
Briefly I am: 50 Living in Kent, England A big fan of F-1 particularly from the 70's, 80's and 90's Keen on building slot cars from resin bodies
In the future I will show you what I have been up to and will regularly visit here to see what is new/old/and generally happening in the 1/32 scratch build world....
Cheers for now,
Philip

Hi Philip P and welcome,
I too lived in Kent in my informative years, in a village called Trottiscliffe, just east of Brands, I saw Jim Clark race there, hence I build loads of Loti.
I'm a few years older than you, so my memory is fading, who said "Nice to see you, to see you nice" was it Brucie?
We look forward to seeing you creations,
Chris

Great to have you on board Philip.
Do show your wonderful builds. As I have reiterated so many times before I do hope that you find the inspiration here to add chassis building to your beautiful body building skills, you'll find all the inspiration and 'tricks' are shown here to help you and everyone is very happy to help.
Initially though don't be worried about showing your PP chassied work, everyone here is just happy to see like minded individuals doing their thing.
Best wishes Andi

Hi Chris and Andi, Thanks for the welcome and words of support.
My builds are nowhere near the standard of some people's that are on show here but I will put up a few pictures soon so that people on this forum know what I do.
Yes Chris, I did steal Bruce Forsyth's catch phrase for the title of this thread....but please don't judge me on that basis!!! I live in Otford which is near Sevenoaks and about 15 minutes from Brands Hatch. Trottiscliffe is 20 minutes from me on the way to Maidstone.
All the best, Philip
