Happy New Year folks.
I've been absent for a while, which may come as a relief to some of our veterans, as I have a tendency to post more than necessary.
In any event, all is well. I have not fallen off the face of the planet, although some might say that living in Montana constitutes being pretty close to the edge of the earth. I have not given up scratch building, but I haven't touched a soldering iron, paint brush, X acto knife, Dremel tool in over three weeks now.
Other events in my life--all very good things-- have taken priority. As I don't want to stray too far off topic, I'll leave it at that for the time being.
I am so pleased to see some new posts highlighting several finished work as well as work in progress.
As a few of you know very well, I don't have any particular affection for F1 cars from the 70's notwithstanding the wide variety of constructors that campaigned cars during that decade. which makes the period historically very interesting.
That being said, David Mticham-- what you have accomplished with your Tecno build is superb. Thank for sharing a pictorial history with us. I don't know about any of the rest of you, but I suspect that if I had ever accomplished anything even remotely resembling what David has achieved, I'd leave the car in gray primer for a few months just to prolong the joy of building.
Welcome to the new folks, my thanks to the regulars. I'll get back to my 67 French Grand Prix project in February--I have two very eventful trips planned over the next 3 weeks.
Take care,
