They look great Chris, especially the 308 - but its bad news for me; yet more tempting cars to build and I already have more projects than time! The only thing I would comment on is that the wheels don't look great - Peter's would be so much better (if they were still available); the 19"or 23" wire wheels from Pendle's might work though.
Best Regards
David

There will also be an Alfa P3.
The Pendles wheels would be pretty close for some of the 308s in post war years; I'm assuming they do narrow fronts and wider rears?
No suggestions for the P2.
If anyone wishers to make the turned aluminium parts for a set of wheels, I can still supply spokes and nuts.
Peter.

A project between me and Colin Spark is shortly to result in 19" wheels with a selection of p/e spoke numbers...36, 48 and 60. These will have 4 separate discs to give texture (a la 1/43rd in the good old days).
The rim detail makes the wheels look finer than Pendle's rather rather clumpy ones (I saw those at Gaydon)
The aluminium wheels are turned and the a/w for the p/e spoke units being done currently on computer unfortunately or they'd be on the market now. Colin has also shown interest in having a new tyre mould made.
I hope that gives makers of earlier cars some succour. That's why we started the project. I have a client who has both an A7 Ulster and an Invicta S type in dire need of them!
Cheers, Martin

Greetings! I had heard some time ago that these were in the works... nice to see them becoming available. As a fan of pre~war cars in general, and the old TRRC cars in particular, I've looked forward to seeing more of Marlon's offerings. Some things are worth waiting for! best to all, Howard

Greetings to all.
I just received examples of the first 3 Shadowfax cars from Marlon. I don't buy many RTR cars nowadays, preferring to build from kits, or resin bodies. In this case, I decided to make an exception. I'm glad I did, as each of these is a real beauty!
In my opinion, they certainly add to and extend the reputation enjoyed by Marlon's classic TRRC cars from a few years ago. I wondered how I would like the new wheel style on these cars, and I have to say they look better than I expected from the pictures I had seen. The wheels show light through the spokes around the outside of the "brake drum", which is not evident in the pictures I had seen.
I will likely also build examples of each of these cars from body kits, and will probably use traditional metal wheels with "wire wheel" inserts for those. In any case, the cars are superb! Looking forward to trying them out on a track... if they run anywhere near as good as they look, they'll be a load of fun! Thanks, Marlon.
Cheers, Howard
