Thanks for posting his contact info... I too would like to build one of these. I came across this great image of a pair "lighting them up" at Goodwood.

Work continues on the BRM, so I have fitted the seat back supplied with the kit and built of floor in the cockpit. Now I am playing about with the driver, chopping sawing about and adding milli. I have changed the front wheels and added some bigger rear tyres - unfortunately not diamond pattern tread. PS my email has changed to mel_ault39@outlook.com as O2 tell me they are closing the domain o2.co.uk.

Right, we finally have all the bits and the BRM V16 is ready for shipping. I have built mine and the instructions will hopefully help you build yours better than mine. This is supposed to be Froilen Gonzales based on an old colour photo I found.

Hi Jim,
I have been losing posts as my email address has changed and I have finally succeeded in revising my profile, so I was a guest for a while and therefore unable to post. The wheels on this car as shown are from Pendle Slot - advertised as 19" wheels. However, I am now gluing together a set of fronts from RSS Slot racing which will look very nice as they are the correctly laced sixty spoke versions. I shall post a picture of the revised wheels once they are complete. It will still have Pendles wheels on the rear though.
Cheers
Mel

I recall from research I did while building up my Pre-Ad V-16 that the front wheels (not tires) were listed as larger than the rears - this is quite evident in the Goodwood photo above. I don't recall the specifics but it was something like 18/16 or so.

Yes, you're right EM. The Anthony Pritchard book on the V16 states 18" fronts and 17" rears; unfortunately he doesn't say what the tyre diameters were. The book is readily available second hand at quite reasonable prices. I'm currently working on a Pre-Wing V16 which will have PST wheels. I'll be opening a thread soon.
Best Regards
David
