Hi Marc
Looks good. I have the PP Ferrari 1512 and found that it was a little over scale; the body sides were too deep and I have trimmed some resin off. It also has the large opening underneath the nose - I think I'll copy what you have done when I finally get round to finishing the build!
Best Regards
David

I don't have much in the way of progress to report, but at least I can post a couple of pictures of the actual cars I'm modelling and the body shells that are my starting points. As previously posted, in the GP1.5 Class my entry will be the Scirocco SP-2-63 BRM of Ian Burgess in the 1963 German Grand Prix. The shell was gifted to me some years ago by Mark Huber and was once sold by FPF Resins. As you can see, there is a lot of work to be done to remove all the excess resin. It weighs in at 15 grams, about twice as much as a comparable Dave Jones shell. In the GP2.5 Class, I'm building the Maserati 250F (Chassis 2504) owned privately and raced by Prince Bira of Siam in the 1954 French Grand Prix to a 4th place finish. The shell is an excellent fibreglass resin moulding from Dave Jones. I am gathering the brass and music wire materials and hope to have them on the jig this week. Stewart

Mercedes W196 body gets a bit of a refresh, and a brand-new VRAA compliant chassis. I'll probably have to leave the driver un-installed with instructions for fixing so the label can be visible :/
