Here is my latest build. The Tyrrell 007 of Patrick Depailler. The body is another brilliant shell from Simon (DNQ). I decided to use a modified chassis from a Scalextric Tyrrell 001 as as these cars were being sold cheap it was too good an opportunity to miss. The body shell needed modification as I was not going to use the "engine" section. The Scalextric "engine" molding required some modification and air intakes were added on the front wheels suspension mounts and over the rear axle/crown gear cover. The rear wind was my creation but Simon supplied the front wing end plates. Onto the photos; as always I apologise for the number and quality..... The starting point Raw materials and butchered car Close up of engine modifications Rear view Completed underside Track testing Gallery view And here are some shots with other members of my Tyrrell "scratch build family".... Thanks for sticking with the thread to the end!!! All the best, Philip
