This website has been great inspiration to me. My interest is pre-wing F1 cars late 60's but also the early wing car era. Some of your builds are truly amazing and have inspired me to try some humble attempts at building my own F1's.
I live in Kelowna BC (Canada) and race with the Kelowna Slot Car club. My track is the DCMR 110 which is a wood three lane circuit. My goal right now is to start building some simple replica's of the late 60's F1 using modified PoliCar chassis.
Thanks again to all for sharing your amazing hobby with the world.

Richard,
It is great to read your expression of interest in building some 60's F1 cars. As a fellow Canadian and enthusiast of the same era I welcome your participation on this forum. Have you checked out the Proxy Racing sub-forums here? The "GPd" proxies would be right up your alley, and the VRAA Proxies (which I organize) might be of interest too. I look forward to seeing whatever you build, and don't hesitate to ask questions. We all love historic F1 cars and want to encourage anyone who wants to build them.

Stewart, Thank you for your note. I was unaware of these proxies - in fact I had not scrolled down the screen as I had got mesmerized by the early threads on 60's cars! Again - really useful stuff and articles I have found tough to get answers on. I need to get building and once I have got a few cars done I will be interested in joining in on your VRAA proxies so thanks for the heads up. Nice rules too.
